Integrative Massage at our Charlotte Spa
One of our more popular massages here at Nature’s Spa is our Integrative Massage. This massage blends our Swedish massage and certain elements of our neuromuscular massage to provide a relaxing treatment to those who are also experiencing pain or discomfort. During this treatment, you will lay either face up or face down underneath warm, soft linen’s and enjoy a full body relaxation massage with extra attention paid to specific trouble areas such as the low back, neck, shoulders, feet and hips. Wherever the focus, the therapist will utilize their knowledge of the body along with an intention of deep relaxation to provide a truly unique experience.
This type of massage is best when a session of 90 minutes is scheduled to allow adequate time for both relaxation and focused therapy.
Another massage that benefits immensely from a longer session is the exotic Herbal Thai Ball Massage.
Who can benefit from a Integrative Massage?
This form of massage therapy is perfect for those who need to relax and de-stress but also need a little extra pressure and attention to an area. Individuals with post surgery adhesions or edema would benefit greatly from this massage early on and then later to reduce and realign scar tissue. Also those who are just starting a new work out program, increasing a current program’s intensity, training for an athletic event or suffering from restricted range of motion to certain joints.
